We chose the name of the winery after the original German name of the village – Gurdau, thereby trying to respect the history and heritage of the village of Kurdějova. Minimalism, modesty and respect – all this characterizes the Gurdau brand. The Gurdau winery honors tradition, craftsmanship and respect for nature. This family-run business revives the winemaking heritage of Kurdějova through sustainable practices and careful techniques.
