Wine house
Right between the rows of a beautiful vineyard, at its peak, a place has been created where the passion for wine, food and architecture is connected. The Gurdau Wine House is minimalist, elegant, but also original and respectful of nature. Just like our wines. From the summer of 2022, we are happy to invite wine lovers and connoisseurs to enjoy them on the terrace of our winery with a breathtaking view.
First kick-off
The first sketches of the winery building began in 2014. The planning process was full of thoughts, reflections and redrawings. After many years of careful consideration, the final plan was born, characterized by elegant rounded shapes that harmoniously fit into the surrounding landscape.
Construction began in the spring of 2020 and ended in March 2022. The location of a winery directly among vineyards is not a common occurrence in Moravia, which allows us to offer wine tasting in the environment where the wine itself is created, all with humility and respect for the surrounding nature.
Building
The construction took 2 years to complete. The Wine House itself is notable for its unique architecture. Building in rounded and precise shapes required a lot of technical effort and innovation.
Interior
Every glass, cutlery, table and bed has hours of thought and iteration. Our goal is for each item to fully express the philosophy and spirit of our winery. Here you will find the best brands in the world, all under one roof.

The house is constructed of reinforced concrete, with respect to its depth into the terrain and its shape, evoking the undulations of the landscape, complemented by acacia and oak wood on the wall cladding, floors, terraces, blinds and interior details. Great care is taken with lighting, working with light and shadow, and the design of interior details and furniture by Daniela Hradilova so that the resulting impression is simple, yet evoking pleasant and unforgettable emotions.
